What is startupjs.ai?

startupjs.ai turns a conversation into a real, working app. You describe what you want — a shop, a booking site, a club portal, an internal tool — and an AI builds it: the pages, the design, and the database behind them. You refine it the same way you created it: by telling the AI what to change.

Not a website builder with an AI bolted on

Most "AI website" tools generate a static page — pretty, but nothing behind it. On startupjs.ai every site is a full application:

  • It has a real database. Products, bookings, members, scores, submissions — your site stores and shows live data, not hard-coded text.
  • Visitors can interact: fill forms, save favorites, sign in, buy things, talk to your site's own AI assistant.
  • It's also a mobile app. Every site you build can be opened on a phone as a native app — no app-store process, no extra work. See Your site as a mobile app.
  • It's hosted for you. Your site is live at your-name.startupjs.ai the moment it's built, and you can connect your own domain.

What building feels like

You talk to the AI Builder — a chat that lives next to your site. A first build usually goes like this:

  1. You describe the site in a few sentences.
  2. The AI asks a couple of short questions about the parts that could go either way (each comes with a recommended answer — you can just accept them).
  3. It builds the whole thing — pages, design, data — while you watch its progress.
  4. You look at the result and say what to change. Repeat until it's yours.

There's no editor to learn and no settings maze. The chat is the whole interface.

What it costs

You own the result

This matters, so it's worth saying plainly:

  • Your site's data is yours. Export it, or the entire site, whenever you like.
  • The site itself is portable. Export gives you the complete app as standard source code you can host anywhere — it doesn't phone home and doesn't need startupjs.ai to run.
  • Your AI can drive it too. If you already use Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent, you can connect it directly and manage your projects from there.
