Design & themes

Describe the mood; the AI handles the palette. Every new site starts from one of a set of professionally curated color themes matched to what you're building — a ceramics boutique gets warm porcelain tones, a pricing dashboard gets cool slate. From there, you change anything by describing it.

Changing the look

Ask the AI Builder

"Make it feel warmer and more handmade — cream background, terracotta accents."

"This should look like a serious financial product. Dark navy, lots of whitespace, no rounded corners."

"Use a bigger, friendlier font for headings."

Design changes apply site-wide by default — colors, spacing and typography are defined once and used everywhere, so the site stays consistent instead of drifting page by page. If you want a one-off ("only the hero on the home page"), say so.

Seen a site whose style you love? With Web access enabled you can name it: "make mine feel like stripe.com — the spacing and typography, not the content."

Dark mode

Every theme comes with a matching dark variant, but dark mode is off until you ask for it. If you want it, ask the AI to add a light/dark toggle to your site — each visitor's choice is remembered on their device. The AI deliberately doesn't follow the visitor's system setting automatically: your site should never surprise you by looking different at night than what you approved by day.

If something looks broken

Colors unreadable, elements overlapping, a page that looks wrong on phones — just describe it ("the white text on the yellow banner is unreadable"). Attaching a screenshot with the + button helps, and the AI can also look at its own screenshots to check its fix. And as always, Restore to here undoes any restyling you regret.
