#Talking to the AI Builder

The AI Builder is the chat that builds and changes your site. You'll get the best results by describing the outcome you want in plain language — what a visitor should see and be able to do — and letting the AI figure out the how.

#Asking well

A few habits that consistently produce better results:

Describe outcomes, not implementations. "Visitors should be able to save favorites and see them on their own page" beats "add a favorites database table". The AI is good at the technical part — that's its job.

One change per message when refining. Big first descriptions are fine, but once the site exists, small focused requests ("make the header sticky") are faster and easier to verify than five changes bundled together.

Say what's wrong plainly. "The Add to cart button does nothing" or "the text is unreadable on the dark background" is enough — you don't need to guess at causes. The AI can also test the site itself and look at screenshots of its own work.

Mention the page you're on. The chat knows which page of your site you currently have open and uses it as context — so "center this heading" while looking at the About page usually just works.

#Answering its questions

When your request has a real fork in it, the AI asks first — a short card with options rather than a wall of text. The first option is its recommendation; clicking it means "you decide". You can always pick Other and type your own answer, or just reply in the chat with a free-form message if you'd rather discuss it.

#Attaching files

The + button in the composer attaches things to your message:

• Images — a sketch, a screenshot of a site you like, a photo of your product. The AI looks at them and uses them.
• Documents — text files, notes, price lists.
• ZIP archives — got a prototype from another AI tool, or a folder of assets? Attach the whole zip. The AI reads the contents and can rebuild the design as a real, working site, reusing your images.

#While it works

During a build the chat shows a live progress row — what the AI is doing right now, how long it's been running, and (if you expand it) its running notes. Two controls matter:

• Stop — the Send button becomes Stop while the AI works. Stopping halts it where it is; it doesn't undo what's already done. Your next message continues from there.
• Restore to here — every turn in the chat history has a restore control. Clicking it rolls the entire site back to how it was at that moment. It's the undo button for everything, so experiment freely.

#Where the chat lives

The same chat appears in two places: embedded in your site's admin panel, and as a floating bubble on your site itself when you're signed in as the owner (visitors never see it). On phones it opens full-screen.

#What it can use

• Browse the web — to reproduce a site you name or research content. Off by default; see Web access.
