Pages & navigation

Your site is a set of pages, and you shape them by describing them. Ask for a page and it exists; ask for a menu and it appears; ask for "a page per product" and every product gets one automatically.

"Add a Frequently Asked Questions page and link it in the footer."

"I want a page for each workshop, with its photo, date, description and a signup button. The workshops page should list them all."

"Make the gallery the home page and move the current home content to an About page."

A few things happen without asking:

  • Pages that show one thing each ("a page per product") are wired up automatically — new products get their page the moment they're added, because pages read from your site's live data.
  • Links between pages are kept working when things move or get renamed.
  • Empty and not-found states — the AI is taught to handle "nothing here yet" gracefully, but if you spot an awkward blank page, just say so.

Menus, headers, footers and sidebars are ordinary parts of your site — describe what you want where:

  • "Put a navigation bar on top with Home, Menu, and Contact."
  • "On phones, collapse the menu into a hamburger."
  • "Add a footer with our address and opening hours on every page."

Every page has a normal web address you can share — your-site.startupjs.ai/workshops, or your own domain once connected. Addresses update if you rename pages, so if you've printed a link somewhere, tell the AI to keep that exact address.
