Is my site online when I'm not? Yes. Sites nap when nobody's visiting and wake in under a second when someone arrives — visitors never notice. Bring-your-own apps don't nap at all.

Can I use my own domain? Yes — one DNS record and it's live, security certificate included. See Project settings → Domain.

Which AI powers the building? Current-generation frontier AI models, upgraded as better ones appear. Each project can choose between a standard and a higher-reasoning tier in Project settings.

The AI said it's done, but I don't see the change. Refresh the page first. If it's genuinely not there, occasionally the AI stops a step short — replying "continue" almost always completes it. If it did something different from what you meant, say so plainly; if it made things worse, use Restore to here on an earlier chat turn.

I asked for a redesign and now I hate it. Am I stuck? Never. Every chat turn has Restore to here — the whole site rolls back to that moment: pages, design, data structure. Experiments are free.

Can visitors see each other's data? No. Anything personal defaults to per-visitor access, enforced on the server where clever visitors can't bypass it. See Who can see what.

Do I actually own my site? Yes, in the strongest sense available: Export hands you the complete site as standard source code plus your data, runnable anywhere without startupjs.ai. And if this service ever shut down, that export is your site, whole.

Can my team help me manage a site? Not yet — today each project has one owner account. Support and shared access are the kind of thing worth telling us you need (see Getting help); it shapes what gets built next.

Can I sell subscriptions? Not yet — Payments covers one-time payments (products, bookings, tickets, donations). Recurring billing isn't available today.

How do I cancel? From the Billing page — your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Afterwards your sites go offline but nothing is deleted, and exports keep working. Fair warning done kindly: export before you go, and the door back stays open.

Where is my site hosted? On startupjs.ai's servers in the European Union.
