Your dashboard at a glance

The dashboard at startupjs.ai/projects is where you manage projects and your account. Building the site itself happens elsewhere — in the AI Builder chat on the site. A useful way to remember the split: the dashboard is about your sites; the AI Builder is inside them.

The sidebar

  • New project — create another site. Each project is independent: its own address, its own data, its own chat history.
  • My projects — your sites, each with a live status (running, sleeping, and so on — sleeping is normal, sites nap when idle and wake instantly for visitors).
  • Shared with me — appears when someone gives you admin access to their project (see Share admin access). You get the same access as the owner, except deleting the project or changing who it's shared with.
  • Trash — appears when you've deleted a project. Deleted projects stay restorable for 7 days; see Trash & restoring projects.
  • Connect your AI — use your own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…) to manage projects. See Connect your own AI.
  • Billing — your plan, usage and credit. See Plans, billing & credit.

A project's page

Click a project to open its page. From top to bottom:

  • Open site — the live address, plus Open mobile app for phone access via QR codes (more) and Export project to download the whole site (more).
  • AI Builder quality — pick Medium / High / Pro and toggle Vision support; each card shows its live price. Explained in Project settings.
  • Hosting — Domain and Compute. Each opens in place, shows a summary when collapsed, and only asks for what's needed. Also in Project settings.
  • Plugins — cards for Auth, Emails, Payments, AI Assistants, Custom APIs, Web access and Generate images. A card shows its current mode; clicking it opens that capability's configuration page. See Plugins.
  • Danger zone — Restart (brief downtime, data kept), Lock (parks the project and frees its compute), Delete (moves it to the Trash).

Your site's own admin panel

Every site also has a private admin area at your-site-address/admin — this one is part of your site, not the dashboard. It's where the embedded AI Builder chat lives, alongside pages the AI's work produces: uploaded Files, email Templates, Connections to external services, Tests, your site's AI assistants, and the Phone page with mobile QR codes. You'll be sent to the right page there whenever it matters — no need to memorize it.

Signing in

The dashboard and your sites' admin panels share your startupjs.ai login — open a project from the dashboard and you're already the signed-in owner on the site.
