Web access
With Web access on, the AI Builder can look at the real web — search, open pages, and take its own screenshots of them. That unlocks the most-requested kind of prompt: "make my site like that one."
What it's for
"Look at oursummercamp.example.com and rebuild it as my site — same structure and feel, but with my camp's name and dates."
"Research the standard sections of a restaurant site and make sure mine isn't missing anything important."
"Open my old site and copy the text of the About page over."
The AI reads a page's text and, on models that can see, its screenshot — so it can reproduce structure, tone and layout, not just words. It follows links by finding them on the page, so it can work through a small site section by section.
Turning it on
Web access is off by default. On your project's page in the dashboard, find the Web access card in the Plugins row and switch it on. It's a per-project choice.
Limits, by design
- Looking only. The AI can read and screenshot pages — it can't log in, click buttons, fill forms, or buy anything.
- Public web only. Only regular public websites are reachable.
- Budgeted. There's a cap on page views per build, so a research detour can't run away with your credit.
One honest note: "make it like that site" reproduces structure and style inspiration, not a pixel-perfect copy — and the content it copies is only as usable as your rights to it. Cloning your own old site over is the perfect use.
